Borough Plan

Main modifications to the Borough Plan in Exhall

School Lane (HSG6)

The red hatched area has been removed from the plan. Originally this whole site was for 398 houses. The main modification has increased the housing density on the remaining half of the site to 220. The site has a national grid power line running through it and also contains an example of medieval ridge and furrow.

Bowling Green Lane/Church Lane (EMP7)

This site is 22 hectares, about the size of Bayton Road Industrial Estate. School lane would be the main access for HGV's and would need to be widened. The main route to and from the site would be through the already busy junction of Coventry Road/Bayton Road junction.

Hawkesbury (HSG12)

Hawkesbury was added to the plan after the public examination by the government inspector. It will not get a public examination as other sites have had, instead all representations must be made to the inspector via the borough council in writing. This site will add traffic to the busy Road junctions at Black Horse Road/Coventry Road as well as a knock on effect to Bayton/Coventry Road Junction.
